Hello, I’m Abbie Ciasullo.
And I’ve never lived outside of PA in my life. So thanks to a school sponsored trip I’m living in Utah for a month with my aunt.
I’m currently a sophomore at Washington and Jefferson college studying Math and Art. As far as a life plan I don’t have much of one at the moment; I’m just bopping along and seeing what comes my way all I know is that I missed having a math class my first year and LOVED my drawing class. I’ve been pretty artsy my whole life -voted Most Artistic in high school, humble brag- from piano for eight years to band to art class to ceramics as a kid despite being pretty awful at 3D art. My mural senior year of an MC Escher wins hands down as far as a crowning achievement.
So what am I looking to get out of Utah?
Well…see my aunt for one thing, but also have some fun with the sights and making art. I don’t have much experience with landscapes so that’s mostly what I’m working on. I mean, I am in Utah after all so gotta take advantage of the scenery while I can. Hopefully there’ll be a portrait or two in there somewhere too. As far as this blog goes it’ll mostly be updates of where I’ve been and what I’m working on every couple days.
